REPLACE THE FAT WITH MUSCLES
A lot of us when we think about workout routines for loosing weight, we think of heavy aerobic routines, spin classes and the treadmill. Muscle building or strength training is actually a very effective way of loosing weight and yet keeping the skin tight. It means you don’t loose the fat too quickly but you turn the fat into muscles thereby helping your skin stay intact. 2-3 days of aerobics is advised, to help you speed up body metabolism. During body building please do not forget your protein intake to help repair muscles and help your body stay firm.
Most people who go into extreme dieting or choose the weightloss tea option, end us having loose skin because they loose the body weight too quickly. The skin has no time to adjust to the weight loss because of the pace at which you are shedding the fat. It’s advised that we try loosing weight gradually but continually to help us keep the skin tight. 1-5LB of weight-loss a week, is advise.
Forget the tag that smoking kills for a minute. To avoid loose skin during weight-loss, you will need to avoid smoking or exposure to a smoker because smoking thins out the skin and encourages wrinkles. A thin skin makes it easy to have a sagging skin.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
The need for drinking water can never be over emphasised. By drinking water you keep the skin hydrated and flexible. A flexible skin is easier to shift during weight-loss. Making it easy to adjust to your frame as you loose weight.
STOCK UP ON FRUITS AND VEG
Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables. Vegetables such as red pepper and tomatoes help the skin. Citrus fruits containing vitamin C is also great for skin firming.
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE SUN
ultra violet light from the sun can loosen skin molecules. When working out outside, It is advised that you schedule your workout early in the morning or later in the evening so that the skin is not exposed to UVA or UVB rays that can penetrate the dermis layer of the skin.
